Yesterday, I mentioned in a post about how I came to get past my celebrating the Giants Super Bowl XXV win to understand and appreciate - and really, to admire - how Buffalo placekicker Scott Norwood handled himself so admirably. He missed the biggest field goal of his life - the biggest field goal attempt in NFL history, in fact - and yet, he earned the respect of many people with how he conducted himself with grace and dignity and honesty in the aftermath.
Below is a video that explores this a little bit, and which seemed worth sharing here. Take a look. It's fairly short, just a few minutes or so. But it shows a bit of how he earned so much respect, as well as how he took that and still managed to live a good and productive and healthy life.
