It seems to me that the Beatles seem to have historical anniversaries almost around the entire calendar. Even the four members of the Fab Four have birthdays at different times of the year, except for Ringo and Paul, who have birthdays just weeks apart.
Otherwise, there are very significant dates that seem to go the year round. The anniversary of them coming to America, the anniversary of individual album releases, specific live shows, movies and television specials, them breaking up, and then special anniversaries for their solo careers.
Well, be that as it may, I nevertheless wanted to take some time to recognize that today would have been the 97th birthday of George Martin, the famous Beatles producer. Often, he was regarded as the "Fifth Beatle," because of how involved he was in molding the sound for each of the original albums.
Martin was born in Holloway, London, on the 3 January, 1926. He would have turned 97 today.
