In recent months, there have been some signs which people have been pointing out which suggest that President Trump is not well.
Some of them we all know about, and are in the public eye. Things like his swollen ankles, or the mark on the back of his hand.
However, there are other things, as well. Like his increased slurring of words, as well as his seemingly inexplicable disappearances from public view for days at a time. Remember, this is the ultimate narcissist, someone who wants to be the center of attention all of the time. No exaggeration. So for him to suddenly disappear is a bit strange, wouldn't you say?
Well, there are other things, as well. Most notably, perhaps, are the signs that Trump may have dementia. Hey, he is 79 years old and, frankly, he really seems like he is growing increasingly incoherent. Don't get me wrong: I was never one of those people who was impressed with his public speaking. Quite the opposite, in fact. Still lately, it feels like it has grown worse.
Andy Borowitz took aim at this some weeks ago (well, a couple of months ago now). And it seemed worth sharing, even if I meant to post this many weeks ago, well before my vacation in September.
Take a look. Do you think Borowitz has a case? Are the signs really there, and he seems increasingly unfit for the office he holds? Or is it maybe a case of either wishful thinking or some kind of overreaction on his part?
