The Toronto Blue Jays won Game 1 of the World Series.
This marks the first time that the Toronto Blue Jays have won (or played in) a World Series game since 1993. So they are off to a good start.
I know that winning the first game in a playoff series does not clinch anything. Again, though, it is indeed a good start. I hope that they can complete this with a series win and a championship. It would be the first for the franchise in 32 years, and the first title of the 21st century for them.
