Baltimore Ravens (2-5) at Miami Dolphins (2-6)
Two struggling teams square off. Both of these teams had playoff aspirations, but quickly dug themselves in a deep hole early in the season.
Miami finally looked like they had some life in their convincing win over the Falcons in Atlanta last weekend. They have a tougher team to face today. But at least they have home field advantage.
However, the Ravens feel like the significantly better of these two teams. They started off 1-5, and it appeared disastrous. But they managed to earn a convincing win over a Chicago Bears team that had entered on a four-game winning streak.
Neither team has looked good so far this season. Still, Baltimore feels like the better team, and I like their chances of righting the ship and getting back on course - and possibly making a run for the playoffs - better than Miami's chances.
The win over the Falcons felt like it was more for pride than anything else for the Fins. But the Ravens victory over the Bears felt more like a team trying to overcome past mistakes to salvage their season. This game likely feels like it will mean more to the Ravens than for the Fins. Expect them to play like that and earn a big win.
