PSG resumed UEFA Champions League play yesterday against Club Brugge, who entered this game with only the one earlier loss to PSG. Having lost a blowout game to PSG, 5-0, last time, Club Brugge certainly had the incentive of revenge on their mind.
However, PSG played well, particularly on defense, and held Club Brugge off.
Mauro Icardi scored the game's first and only goal in the 21st minute, giving PSG the lead.
They never managed to add to it, however their defense proved tough and allowed it to stand, earning a nice win for PSG.
