Trump on the Verge of Leading United States to War in Iran

One of Trump's campaign promises was that he would avoid getting this country tangled up in unnecessary foreign wars, something that his base seemed to really like.

That might be the one thing that I could agree with Trump, for that matter. So surprise, surprise, he winds up not meaning it. And right on time for this big election year! Cannot teach an old dog new tricks. Despite his bluster and all of that talk from Trump supporters that he is a breath of fresh air, his policies and overall approach are pretty much similar to his predecessors. The only difference is in his delivery, which is crude and pathetic.

So far, his presidency has been a complete disaster in almost every way. And he has broken campaign promises, one after the other.

Is it a surprise, then, that right at the very beginning of a new year, which happens to be election year where he will try to secure a second term, that all of a sudden, we find ourselves on the brink of another war?

Wag the Dog, anyone?
