⚽️ ⚽️ PSG & Monaco Wind Up Tying ⚽️ ⚽️

⚽️ ⚽️ 3 Paris Saint-Germain - AS Monaco FC 3  ⚽️  ⚽️

 Paris Saint-Germain - AS Monaco FC ( 3-3 )

The results on Sunday for PSG were not all that great.

Then again, they also were not all that bad.

Ligue 1 leaders PSG only managed a 3-3 tie in yesterday’s game against AS Monaco FC. PSG certainly had chances to win, and they in fact had a lead at halftime of this back and forth contest.

For most of the second half, in fact, PSG held the lead, but they yielded a goal by Monaco’s  Islam Slimani in the 70th which allowed Monaco to earn the tie, rather than suffer the loss.

Still, PSG played well at times, getting off to a very hot start when Neymar scored the game’s first goal in the 3rd minute. Neymar would score again later in the half, in the 42nd minute, which gave PSG that 3-2 lead for halftime.

But Gelson Martins scored in the 7th minute as Monaco’s answer to that first, very early Neymar goal. Then, Wissam Ben Yedder scored in the 13th minute, giving Monaco a 2-1 lead against PSG.

However, Monaco’s Fodé Ballo-Touré scored a goal in the 24th minute, although it was not the kind of goal that anyone really wants to score. He scored an Own Goal, after a shot by Neymar deflected off the back of his legs and inadvertently made him score a goal against his own team. With that, PSG had managed to tie the game again.

After trailing 3-2 for most of the second half, Islam Slimani managed to break through for a goal in the 70th for Monaco, tying the game once again, with time running out for either team to produce an outright win.

Neither team managed to score anything after that, and the two teams walked off the field with a 3-3 tie.
