CFL West Preview: British Columbia Lions at Winnipeg Blue Bombers

Okay, so the video above seemed appropriate, since it does a run down on the two teams involved, assesses their strengths this season, and then does a preview of the coming Western Final.

As for me?

Well, I wrote this blog entry before fully watching this video, because I wanted my own opinion to be independent of that influence, for what it's worth.

However, anyone following the CFL recently, and particularly this season, should be able to see that Winnipeg has been the best team in the entire league now for a few years. They enter this game having dominated the CFL all season long, and so they are solid favorites. The reason, already stated, is that they have been the best team in the league now for several seasons, and appear to be far and away the best team this season, as well.

So that makes this easy. The Lions are a decent team, and they enjoyed a solid run, finishing second in the West, and then beating a quality Calgary team last week. But their season probably ends in Winnipeg tomorrow evening, because the Blue Bombers just appear too good at this time.

My pick: Winnipeg
