Didn't get a chance to publish this particular blog entry yesterday.
However, it was on November 22, 1963 that the Beatles released their second album, "With the Beatles," which would spend just shy of one year on the UK charts.
If that date looks a bit strange, you are right. It was released on the same day as when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. In fact, I believe that they were originally supposed to visit America on that day, but that it was postponed because of the assassination.
Obviously, they made good on the eventual visit to the United States not long after that.
What an album, an what a band!
