Since I wrote something about a train that is about to once again connect New York City to Montreal, it seemed like a good idea to post this blog entry. Meant to publish this particular blog entry last month, but never quite got around to it. But the timing feels good now, since I posted earlier about another train line. But this one, while remaining strictly north of the border, is about a high-speed train.
Is it really possible that a fast train line will soon be built, which will connect Montreal and Toronto?
Apparently, yes.
Surely, it will not come easily, or without some resistance. This is North America, after all, where expenditures for things like public transportation improvements are met with skepticism and scorn.
Still, let's hope that this happens!
