Kylian Mbappé Scores Late Goal & Becomes Leading Scored All-Time For PSG

 ⚽️ ⚽️ Paris Saint-Germain 6- Angers 1  ⚽️  ⚽️

It is a bit strange. One of the last times that I wrote about Kylian Mbappé was when he seemed itching to leave PSG. He wanted to make it happen by January.

Now, here we are in March. PSG is on fire, and Mbappé specifically just made history with his 201st goal for the club, which is a record amount for PSG. And Mbappé  suddenly sounds very happy to be here with PSG:

“It’s very special to be here. The last time I was here was to announce I was staying [extending his contract], it’s an honour to be here as the club’s top scorer,” said Mbappe. “It’s a privilege to be a PSG player, to play in this historic shirt, for the biggest club in France.”

Mbappé's goal two minutes into stoppage time helped PSG ice a 4-2 win against Nantes. It keeps them comfortably atop the Ligue 1 standing with 63 points in 26 matches played. Olympique Marseille are in second place with 52 points after 25 matches played, although they will be playing later today. Lens is in third-place with 51 points in 26 games, and Monaco is currently in fourth place with 50 points after 25 games, although they, like Marseille, will be playing soon again, as well.
