Western Final: Saskatchewan Roughriders 24, British Columbia Lions 21
Much like in the East, you really felt that these were the two best franchises in the West all season long. So it was fitting that they should meet in frigid Regina, with both teams hoping to qualify for a relatively rare chance to qualify for the Grey Cup. In the end, it was the Rough Riders who were able to contain BC's explosive offense fairly well, holding them to a modest 21 points, while scoring 24. Just enough to survive the Lions and qualify for the Grey Cup for the first time since 2013. that's over a decade. So this was a big deal. As for British Columbia, this obviously is a disappointing result. But they enjoyed a solid season, at times flirting with being the standard among teams out west. It was the Roughriders who proved to be the best in the end. But the Lions took major strides in the right direction, and can hopefully build on that in the future. As for the Roughriders, they head to Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg for a showdown and a chance to win the Grey Cup for the first time in over a decade.
My pick: Accurate
