As with the pictures that I took of Rod Serling during my visit to Binghamton, New York, I also wanted to add the unedited pictures of the Harriet Tubman statue.
The one I posted on Friday evening was done in something resembling sepia, which I hoped would lend it an older, vintage feel.
However, the pictures which I actually took were, of course, very different.
Remember that this is the woman who should have been (and hopefully still will be, someday) on the US $20 bill, until President Trump intervened. She was a hero and deserves to be recognized and remembered and honored. She may not be on the $20 bill (yet). But I wanted to do my part to honor her memory in some small way.
So here are the original, unaltered pictures of the new Harriet Tubman statue in downtown Binghamton
Enjoy.
