Yesterday evening, the NFL released both the schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 season. It will include overseas games in both London, United Kingdom and Frankfurt, Germany.
The new season will kick off on Thursday, September 7th, in traditional fashion, with the defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Detroit Lions. I heard an interview with the Lions head coach, and he said that he and his team are excited for this opportunity, that everyone wants a shot at the Super Bowl champions, to see how well they measure up. He made it sound interesting, even though this appears, at least at first glance, like a mismatch. Let's see what happens.
