One of the greatest legends in tennis history, and even in sports today, has withdrawn from his most successful tournament. This is.due to a hip injury. So he will not win his 15th ever French Open title this year, at least. Also, it will take a while for him to win a 23rd overall Grand Slam title.
His main rival, Novak Djokovic, has won the French Open title twice already in the past, and may have a chance at a third ever championship at Roland Garros, which would raise his total Grand Slam titles collection to 23.
Nadal also mentioned that2024 will likely be his last full calendar year on the tour.
What a legend!
