Indeed, it sometimes - perhaps often - feels like bosses want people to work through anything. Anything to maximize the profits of the corporation, and lessen any inconveniences. And so in that spirit, this headline might obviously exaggerate, but only to a degree. It has that kernel of truth which is what makes it both funny and sad at the same time.
