2026 World Cup Host Cities Set To Be Announced By FIFA on June 16

Later this year, the World Cup will take place. It will be a bit unusual this year, because it will not be held during the summer, as it usually is. The host country, Qatar, is simply far too hot for that. No, it will happen months after the summer, when temperatures are at least bearable, and perhaps even ideal, for such a major world tournament.

After this World Cup, the next one will be hosted by three different countries. It will be the three major North American countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

FIFA announced that it will reveal the host cities for the 2026 World Cup on June 16th. That is when we learn what cities will host World Cup games that year.
