The Olympics are now over.
Yet, I saw this video recently by French prankster Remi Gaillard, and it gave me a good laugh. He is "training" for the decathlon, and does it in a hilarious way.
Originally, I had thought that this video was made for this year's Olympics in Paris, since this clearly is shot in France. As it turns out, however, this video is evidently quite old, dating back something like 17 years or so.
The music that accompanies it is perfect. The first part is the FOX baseball theme music, and it really compliments his athletic pursuits beautifully. Then right at the end, there is a bit of music that recalls the music that accompanied videos of France's 1998 World Cup win. It really enhances the experience and the humor, in my opinion.
In any case, it is quite funny. Again, I laughed quite a bit while watching it, and thought that you guys out there might find it funny, too. So it seemed worth sharing here.
