Today, Iceland is going to be voting on whether or not to continue talks on the accession of the European Union.
Granted, I am not Icelandic. However, it seems to me that there never has been a better, more critical time for Iceland to join. After all, American President Donald Trump seems to go out of his way to create tensions with allies. He has shown interest in taking over Greenland, which is really not far from Iceland itself.
So yeah, it makes sense to me.
However, that is for the Icelandic people to determine in the vote later today.
