Buffalo Bills

It feels like the Buffalo Bills are really trying to load up this season in order to go after a title for the upcoming 2022 season.

Yes, it looks like the Bills are doing everything that they humanly can to try and beef up their lineup, so that they can be absolutely loaded for the upcoming NFL season. Already, they are one of the most talented and highly regarded teams in the league in the past two seasons, having firmly established themselves as the premiere team in the AFC East. But they clearly want more, and are the Super Bowl favorites, according to many sports experts.

In the past few days, Buffalo picked up two-time Super Bowl champion, and former Super Bowl MVP, Von Miller. He just won his second Super Bowl, this time with the Rams. Clearly, he did not just get lucky, but is an enormous talent. The Rams wanted to retain him, the Broncos wanted him back, and other teams wanted to pick him up. Well, he wound up getting picked up by the Bills. And remember, Buffalo had a very highly rated defense these past couple of seasons. So they just added a huge talent to an already accomplished and imposing unit.

Then, they just also picked up former Cleveland Browns quarterback Case Keenum to back up star quarterback Josh Allen. So this adds depth in a key position, and should help the offense quite a bit. This would be especially true if, God forbid - Josh Allen gets injured at some point. Let's hope that does not happen, but obviously, this is a physical sport, and injuries happen. So this was a good, solid move by the Bills.

The Bills also picked up former New York Jets slot wide receiver Jamison Crowder one year deal, which should help them make up for the loss of Cole Beasley. Buffalo certainly had to be familiar with Crowder’s capabilities, since he played on a division rival, and specifically had played against them. This feels like a solid pickup that should help the Bills, as well. It really feels like they are making some great moves.

So the Bills have a solid defense that very well may be even better this upcoming season. And they still obviously have one of the most talented young quarterbacks leading an explosive and dangerous offense. Also, don't forget that the Bills have serious playoff experience, more than any other team that has not qualified for the Super Bowl in the past three seasons now, having played in six postseason games, and having won three of them.

They sure seem to have the complete package. Maybe, finally, this is the year of the Buffalo Bills. Of course, you never know. Unforeseen things can happen, including one that I already mentioned the possibility of: injuries. And while I know nobody clinches a Super Bowl appearance or title in the offseason, especially this early in the offseason, it nevertheless is clear that the Bills are really going after it this coming season.
