I saw this particular post on Facebook some years ago, back in 2019 I believe, and shared it.
Today, it popped up in my Facebook history, or memories, or whatever it is. It moved me as much this time as it did then.
So it seemed appropriate to share here. Initially, I was going to adjust the picture, to make it just the elephants holding their trunks before involuntarily parting. Instead, it felt like the description underneath gave it come context, and so it seemed worth keeping.
This moved me. A reminder of what a sad world we live in. What a sad world we have created.
