Legendary Actor & Distinguished Composer Both Will Step Down After Fifth Indiana Jones Movie

Indiana Jones

Next year, the new Indiana Jones movie will be coming out.

It will simultaneously mark a renewal of an iconic franchise, as well as the end of an era.

Why?

Harrison Ford announced that this would be his last ever movie and now, following his lead, noted composer John Williams is following suit. The two have worked together, and both have done movies apart from one another that have also stood out in two remarkably distinguished careers. For Williams, this is a list of some of the works that he has done:

Besides, Star Wars and Indiana Jones, Williams has worked on several classics such as Jaws (1975), E.T. (1982), Harry Potter, Schindler’s List (1993), and Jurassic Park (1993).  Now, the composer, 90, doesn’t feel that he can commit to working on another movie at this time.

Unbelievable!

Also, sad to hear that he is wrapping it up, albeit not entirely surprising. What a blessing to have been able to enjoy the incredible work of these two men.
