NBA Finals: Celtics Will Try To Hold on Tonight & Force Game 7 Against Warriors

This year's NBA Finals has proven to be entertaining and suspenseful. Both teams have shown hunger and ability. The Celtics took Game 1 to show that they were serious, despite the disadvantage in terms of big star power and experience at this level. Then, the Warriors took Game 2, seemingly restoring their advantage.

When Boston won Game 3, however, it began to feel like they might be capable of dominating this series. Man, if they win Game 4, I thought, they pretty much have this one. At least, there would be no excuses for them not to get it done.

Only, they did not win Game 4. The Warriors finally won on the road, taking a necessary game in Boston, and reclaiming home court advantage. Suddenly, it was advantage Warriors. And that was only compounded by their win in Game 5, taking a 3-2 series lead. They have pushed the Celtics to the brink of elimination. Boston now needs to get this win tonight, or it is all over.

However, this series feels so competitive, that it feels like a series destined to go the distance. With home court advantage on their side, and with an obvious sense of urgency to get it done, the Celtics should come out swinging, and win Game 6 tonight, to force a seventh a deciding game, which will be played out in the West Coast, should Boston actually manage to extend the series.

My pick: Boston Wins Game 6
