Some of Stephen King's Funniest Take Downs of Trump

Some pictures I found recently of chalk sketches of the great writer himself.

Stephen King is sometimes referred to as the "master of horror." Yet, when asked what was scarier, his fiction or the real life presidency of Donald Trump, he did not hesitate to say that the Trump years in the White House were far scarier than anything he had ever come up with.

Clearly, King is not a big fan of Trump. And the feeling is pretty mutual, clearly. Trump blocked King

However, King does concede that Trump has successfully tapped into and manipulated America's "id," and has used it for his own, selfish purposes. In particular, he feels that he has readily identified, and exploited, some dark themes, such as the xenophobia, hatred, dishonesty, voluntary and prideful ignorance and arrogance, and the tendency to ignore facts. These are all things that, often times, are reflected in some of the fictional characters to be found in Stephen King's books.

King has taken some big shots at Trump's ego. For example, when Trump infamously claimed, repeatedly, that he is a "very stable genius," King responded by tweeting that "Anyone who has to call himself a genius....isn't."

Right on point with that one, frankly.

And when Trump blocked King from his Twitter account, King blocked Trump from watching his movies, then followed that up by saying "No clowns for you, Donald. Go float yourself." That is a witty reference of the "We all float down here" saying of the monster in King's famous book, "IT."

Hilarious.
