Another small collection of pictures recently taken.
This time, they are of a stream right within maybe a quarter of a mile - maybe even a quarter of a kilometer - from my son's home in northern New Jersey.
Below are pictures of the stream right at the edge of the road, which was also visible from our old apartment in Bloomingdale. However, it goes right through the center of town in Butler, right next door (and also within walking distance of our old place in Bloomingdale). In fact, these two towns border one another, yet they are in two separate counties. What makes it a bit strange is that Bloomingdale kids attend Butler public schools (the middle school and the high school) in Butler.
I took a picture of the sign not only indicating that Butler is in Morris County, but also explaining a bit about the history of the county, which predates the American Revolution and independence.
