Yesterday morning, as I was driving back home from work, I turned and saw a scene similar to the one shown in this photograph. Admittedly, it was a bit more spectacular in person. I tried to capture it in a photo as best I could, but that's not really possible all of the time.
The prior three days had been rainy and rather miserable. There was flooding, and the rain was quite intense at times.
But this morning, it was cool. Yet the sun began to shine just as I was approaching home. When I saw this scene, I knew that I wanted to stop, even briefly, and take this picture.
