Hundreds of Species of Amphibians Are Being Wiped Out by a Fungus

There is a fungus that is wiping out hundreds of species of frogs, toads, and salamanders, dating back to the 1980's. 

In all, the species which have been wiped out constitute roughly seven percent of all amphibians.

They are trying to contain it locally, so that it does not spread.
