Today, I wanted to post something in honor of a man who played a prominent role in the history of a legendary band: the Beatles.
Joe Flannery died earlier today. But he was a significant part of Beatles history, allowing the members of the band to sleep on his floor before they broke big.
He was good friends with Beatles manager Brian Epstein, and was helping the band in a big way from 1962-63. Sometimes, he was referred to as the "Secret Beatle."
He shared the memories of his experiences with the band in the years and decades after the Beatles attained legendary status.
