This is probably the most famous part of Kansas City. The part where everyone goes to and knows about.
On one side is Union Station. Across the way and perched on a hill is the World War I National Memorial. In the middle are some wonderful fountains, which really enhance the beauty of the place.
We happened to come at a great time, just as daytime was yielding to night. So we got a little taste of both worlds.
It was indeed very nice.
