King Con Don has repeatedly threatened to try to deport New York Mayoral Candidate Zohran Mamdani if he is elected in November. Also, he is threatening to take over the city if Mamdani does indeed win the election
In response, the Mamdani campaign issued a statement in which they really perfectly described Trump's governing style:
"Donald Trump has once again chosen to treat democracy like a suggestion and insult the more than half a million New Yorkers who voted for Zohran Mamdani's leadership and a city they can afford," it said in part.
That was really quite accurate. Particularly the part about treating democracy like it is a mere suggestion, although we all know that Trump and his team enjoy insulting anyone and everyone who does not agree with them one hundred percent of the time.
Just seemed like something worth noting.
