Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Donald Trump Warns That War Would Officially 'End' Iran

Donald Trump was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, even though there are investigations into that nomination, as it seems that he might have orchestrated it, applying pressure on Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Many felt that Trump being nominated for such a prestigious prize dedicated towards advancing the cause of world peace was laughable. After all, this man had threatened to wipe North Korea off the map.

His supporters hooted and howled, and stomped the floor to show their support for their imbecile president and his imbecile cause to receive this distinction.

And to prove it was not some cruel joke, to prove that he seriously deserves this distinction, Trump just suggested that a war with Iran would "end" that country.

Wow! Did I misquote him? Is this some kind of fake news?

Well, actually, he was a bit more direct than that. In a tweet on Sunday, Trump strongly suggested that Iran really does not want to fight a war against the United States:

"If Iran wants to fight, that will be the official end of Iran. Never threaten the United States again!"

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted in response that such "genocidal taunts won't 'end Iran'".

That's first tweet is from someone who is now a Nobel Peace Prize nominee. And yeah, it sounds quite genocidal.

To his credit, Trump was apparently a bit more measured during an appearance on Fox News this weekend, suggesting:

"I'm not somebody that wants to go into war, because war hurts economies, war kills people most importantly - by far most importantly."

Mixed messages. Perhaps this is all some part of a brilliant strategy from the "very stable genius." Or, perhaps he is just really as mentally unstable as he sounds and seems.

You really cannot make this nonsense up.
