I took a walk on what proved to be a very beautiful morning in terms of the weather. Last week, it was oppressively hot and humid and uncomfortable. That finally broke over the weekend, and it has been significantly more comfortable since then.
During yesterday's walk, I was struck by the scene of these flowers near a farm field. This is one of my favorite spots during my usual walk in my neighborhood in Hillsborough. You have to look closely to see the blueish-purple flowers at the bottom, but they are there.
