⚽️ ⚽️ England Dominates Host Australia To Punch Their Ticket To Their First Ever Appearance in Final ⚽️ ⚽️

Okay, so the World Cup Women's Final match is set now. England got past Australia, the hosts, to earn their first ever appearance in the Final.

Yet, even though they dominated  - particularly the end of the game - to score a convincing win, Australia hardly made it easy for them.

It was England's Ella Toone who struck first, scoring the game's only goal in the first half on the 36th minute, giving England the 1-0 edge.

But early in the second half, Australia struck back. Sam Kerr scored an incredible goal, firing a rocket from outside of the box that beat the English keeper and found the back of the net in the 63rd minute. The home crowd erupted with enthusiasm, as their home team had managed to come back and tie the game.

However, it was not meant to be. The English remained cool, calm, and collected. Not too much later, Lauren Hemp broke through with a goal in the 71st minute, giving England back the lead.

Then, England's Alessia Russo really put the final nail in the Australia team's coffin with a goal in the 86th minute for a commanding 3-1 lead, which wound up being the game's final score.

England enjoyed advantages in almost all meaningful statistics. They had 15 shots on goal, to just 12 shots for Australia, with 5 on target for England, compared to 4 on target for the Aussies. Also, controlled possession of the ball for a decisive 59 percent of the time, and they enjoyed a solid pass accuracy rate of 83 percent, compared to 74 percent for Australia, according to Google Sports. Australia played well, but England played significantly better.

As a result, England qualifies for their first ever World Cup Finals appearance. There, they will meet Spain, who are also playing in their first ever final. That means that a brand new champion will win their first ever Women's World Cup title at the end of the match.

Should be interesting!
