Meant to publish this some time ago, as it happened nearly two months ago now.
Still, better late than never, right?
Remember how Nirvana and Guns 'N Roses had their little spat back in the nineties, when one band seemed to be rising, and the old guard band seemed to be going in the opposite direction? Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love apparently insulted Axl Rose, and that set off some threats and tensions between the band members. And Dave Grohl publicly sought out Axl on the stage, seemingly to show him he was not afraid of him.
Well, Nirvana is no longer around, but Dave Grohl still is. And he and GNR seemed to have made up over the years, with Grohl even lending Rose his "throne" for a concert tour. Now, yet another sign that the tensions between these two major acts are done, and they have buried the hatchet, as Grohl joined GNR on stage in Britain in June to perform "Paradise City."
