Remembering the Midnight Oil Concert at Terminal 5 in New York City on Aug 21 2017

Yesterday, I posted a blog entry to try and honor the memory of Rob Hirst, the drummer and co-founder of Midnight Oil.

When I went searching for some pictures of the show when I saw Midnight Oil, it dawned on me that I could not find it anywhere. Apparently, I never actually published a review.

And while it is probably too late now to publish a review of the show, it seemed fitting now, as further tribute, to post the pictures from the show, as well as a few more words.

Midnight Oil were not a band that exactly came around often. But I had wanted to see them for years, and finally got the chance to do so when they came to Terminal 5 in New York City back in August of 2017.

It was a great show. I was also just glad to have finally seen them. Somehow, there was a sense for me that the time to do so was now, because it seemed that there would not be a ton of opportunities to see them.

So I got the tickets and went to the show.

Below are the pictures from the show. Thought that there were more, and maybe even a video clip or so. However, this was all that I could find. Frankly, I feel lucky at least to have this, because it took a bit of research even to have these pictures.

Anyway, enjoy.
