Ran into this earlier today.
And while it is not the weekend - is just another Manic Monday, in fact - this still felt worthy of being published as a "Funny" post.
As a fan of Kurt Vonnegut, I could really appreciate this. Indeed, an elected American leader possibly starting World War III after whining about being robbed of the Nobel Peace Prize really does sound like something more likely to be found under Vonnegut than Orwell.
What's sad is that this is not either a Vonnegut or an Orwell novel. That we are describing our present day reality. I was expecting a dictator populist president to take power in the U.S. at some point. But what blindsided me has been the sheer stupidity so prevalent in these times.
Depressing.
Anyway, at the very least, let's try to enjoy life a little bit. And what better way to enjoy it then to get a good laugh from time to time?
It is in that spirit that I am sharing this.
