The Mindless Fascist MAGA Moron Cult Mentality is Spreading in Much of the English Speaking World

The United States has this crisis with the fascist takeover of government by the Trump White House and Republicans controlling both houses of Congress as well as the Supreme Court, and the stubborn support of tens of millions of mindless MAGA Moron cult followers. This has led to Trump feeling emboldened and pushing the envelope more and more. Should we even be surprised that, like he did in 2020, Trump now is talking about canceling the 2026 elections?

This unfortunate trend is also gaining traction in other English-speaking nations, in particular. That includes the also fascist-light political movements of Nigel Farage in Great Britain and sympathizers and Alberta secessionists in Canada, who apparently now are trying to get a secessionist vote to become a reality for what people now apparently are referring to as Maple MAGA's.

Pathetic.

Early polls suggest that they are likely to lose Still, you cannot completely count them out. Remember, Trump himself was too easily overlooked and dismissed back in 2016 and, again, by far too many after his 2020 election defeat. Maybe it's time to take this threat seriously in Alberta, as well. Hopefully, people there are generally smarter and less short-sighted and, frankly, stupid than so many Americans have proven to be. But that remains to be seen.

Let us not forget Australia. Yes, there is apparently a de facto MAGA movement Down Under, as well. Witness this X post by Councillor Steve Christou Libertarian Party for a rally to be held later this month, on Australia Day, in Sydney. This comes complete with not just similar anti-immigrant slogans and sentiments, but also "Australia First" slogans and even an altered "MAGA" red hat, only this one revealing a "Make Australia Great Again" sentiment.

Sigh.

How depressing this world has become.
