Musician Ben Folds is coming out with a new album. It will be called "What Matters Most," and will be his first album release in the better part of a decade.
Ben Folds is probably best known by the general public for the song "Brick," which became a huge hit in the late nineties with his band, "Ben Folds Five," a song that drew considerable controversy, as it deals with the lead-up to and aftermath of an abortion. Always a topic sure to draw a bit of controversy.
However, Ben Folds is a great musician and has a lot of other material, so many people are understandably excited about this announcement of a new album. Here is a snippet of what we can expect, based on the article by Stacy Chandler (see link below):
For What Matters Most, his first studio album since 2015’s collaboration with string ensemble yMusic, Folds has created 10 songs that together tell a story and examine some heavy aspects of modern life with his signature insight and wit. The album will come out June 2 via New West Records.
