Okay, one last blog entry about "Now and Then." Promise.
This one was particularly interesting, because it plays the original John Lennon track, which was recorded on a cassette tape back in the 1970's. You can clearly hear that the quality of the recording is...well, you can see why they did not release it back in 1995, when they did not yet have the quality of technology to make the kind of solid recording that they were evidently able to do with the song now, in 2023.
Listen to how it sounded at first, and then how it has come to sound like an actual Beatles song, newly released. Again, it's exciting to think that the Beatles released a new song this year, in 2023 (sort of).
