The Beatles’ “Final” Music Video By Peter Jackson Garners Predictably Mixed Reactions

Okay, so I believe that I have posted more blog entries over the new and final Beatles song, "Now and Then," than any previous song ever. So I will try to make this truly the last blog entry. 

Sorry. It's just not every year, or every decade, that we actually get a chance to listen to a truly "new" Beatles release.

Obviously, anytime "the Beatles" release something new, it will make a lot of news, as the fact that they are chart toppers after not just so many years, but decades, have passed, should attest. So in that regard, "Now and Then" is historical.

Yet, some people are less than thrilled. In fact, some critics are not fans of the song and/or the video itself. Below, it seemed like a decent idea to provide some links to both kinds of stories, showing just how historic this last release by the Fab Four is, as well as some detracting voices who try to tell us just why this last video is not worthy of "the Beatles." One critical voice from Slate (see link below) actually refers to the music video as an "abomination" in the title of the article itself.
