Could not find much in the way of video recap for this game. In fact, this clip was pretty much the only one that I could find. The problem with that is that it is deceptive, showing Calgary jumping out to an early lead, and looking like they were taking command of the game.
In fact, the BC Lions ultimately won the game in a shootout, 41-30. Again, I was not able to find a video that summed this game up at the time of my publishing this blog entry.
Still, by virtue of their win, the Lions eliminated the Stampeders, and will now travel to Winnipeg to take on the CFL's most successful dynasty in the past few years. The Blue Bombers have qualified for the last three Grey Cups, winning the first two, then getting upset by Toronto in last year's game. The Blue Bombers will host the Lions next Saturday, with the winner of that game earning the right to represent the West in this year's Gray Cup, to be played at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ontario two weeks from tomorrow.
