An Autumn Hike on a Warm Day at Wawayanda

Yes, another blog entry that largely consists of photos of the autumn foliage which I recently took.

This time, it was on a beautiful, unseasonably warm day in late October last week. I had just gotten the oil changed in my car, and then had a meeting at my son's school. Yet, it was still early, and I had the rest of the day off.

So I decided to visit Wawayanda, a beautiful state park in northern New Jersey. I went via Clinton Road, the beautiful - if allegedly haunted - winding and isolated road in West Milford. The colors were already past their peak, yet it was still a beautiful drive.
