In the process, there were numerous highlights. Marcus Thuram, the son of former French footballer, and 1998 World Cup champion Lilian Thuram, scored the second goal of the game. Kylian Mbappé earned three goals, including his 300th career goal. Emerging star Warren Zaïre-Emery scored a goal, although he was unfortunately injured on the play.
