NFL Week 13 Thursday Night Football Preview: Seahawks Visit 'Boys in Dallas

🏈🏈🏈🏈

Seattle Seahawks (6-5) at Dallas Cowboys (8-3)

A big meeting of NFC playoff contenders, this one is.

Later tonight, we shall see if the Cowboys can knock off a team with a winning record, which is not something that they have managed to do yet this season. This has been a major source of criticism for Dallas, and so I think that they will be even more motivated than usual to win this one.

Yes, the Seahawks have a winning record, but barely. They are, in fact, 6-5, and have dropped two straight games, and three of their last four overall. Two of those games were blowout losses to the Ravens and 49ers. The other was a close loss to the Rams, who themselves are not exactly enjoying a dominant season.

Also, the Seahawks are weak on the road. To this point in the season, they are 2-3 on the road. Meanwhile, the Cowboys are 5-0 at home. Keep in mind, also, that the Cowboys really need this win to keep within striking distance of the division leading Philadelphia Eagles. So the Cowboys have every motivation to win this game.

None of that bodes well for Seattle.

It is possible, of course, that the Cowboys will suffer a letdown. However, it feels that all signs point to a Cowboys win, and possibly a very decisive one, at that.

My pick: Dallas
