Recently, I paid a visit to Paterson Falls National Historic Park.
It had been many years since my last visit. But it seems like the older I get, the more my appreciation grows not just for the beauty of such places like this, but also the rich history. Having recently (earlier this year) read a book about Alexander Hamilton, it was more fascinating than on previous visits to see this place, and understand the history a bit better. You could really see just why Hamilton singled this place out as the site of a city that would both facilitate and benefit from America's industrial revolution.
