Alex Jones’ Lawyers Accidentally Leak Years of Emails, Cell Phone History & Infowars Financial Documents

Many, many, many people are waiting for Donald Trump to finally be held accountable for his many, many, many crimes. I heard one person suggest that Trump's involvement with the January 6th coup attempt (and yes, I believe it was nothing short of an orchestrated coup attempt) was the biggest crime ever committed by a president. And you know what? It very well may be, and that's saying something! This makes Watergate look like Nixon stealing candy from a baby by way of comparison. It makes the Savings and Loan Scandal, the Iran-Contra Affair, Whitewater, and even the numerous corporate scandals that the Bush administration were involved in look petty and insignificant. About the only thing that I feel might have been comparable in terms of the damage to America's image abroad and morality internally might have been the constant barrage of lies and over-the-top propaganda leading up to the Iraq invasion way back in 2003.

So yes, that would be the big trial to hold somebody who lies constantly and makes a career of misleading people and taking advantage of their naivete accountable.

However, there is one smaller case that is happening right now, and which is making huge waves at the moment. Of course, I am referring to the Alex Jones case.

For a while, I used to believe that Jones was crazy. Now, I think that he is more like a smaller version of Donald Trump. He lies, he intentionally misleads, and then he pockets as much of the money that his bullshit propaganda musters, and it is significant.

Well, he is having his day in court, and it is not going well for him. Not going well for him at all, in fact.

Jones has done many, many despicable things over many years now. But despite the magnitude of many of the horrors that he is responsible for, nothing is quite as disgusting and criminal and immoral as his claims that the Sandy Hook school shooting of 2012 was a hoax. The families who lost their loves ones - especially the very young children in first and second grade - have every right to be angry as hell at Jones for the lies that he spread about it. Some family members even received threats. Can you imagine? They lost loved ones in a historically horrific mass shooting, have to deal with an arrogant loudmouth like Jones claiming that it never happened, and then when they try and hold him accountable, some loyal Jones supporters threaten them with violence. Surely, they saw no irony in defending Jones in his baseless claims that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax by threatening the safety and well being of those families, who have suffered enough.

But it seems to be unravelling fast for Jones now. He apparently was visibly astonished when he found out that those families were suing him for $150 million, and made a claim that something like $2 million would wipe him out. Only his lawyers - who almost seem like they are working for the other side - accidentally sent some compromising information over to the prosecution lawyers. Jones claimed not to have had anything to do with Sandy Hook conspiracy stories, but his own cell phone history and emails proved otherwise. He was confronted with these lies of his in court, and had no answers. Instead, he made some kind of crack to the lawyer who was cross-examining him that this was his Perry Mason moment.

You know what? In this age of staggering lies and propaganda and misinformation, let Alex Jones serve as an example. Let him lose the case for the full $150 million, and let him rot the rest of his pathetic life in jail, so he can think about where he once was, and how low he has since sunk. Let him be disgraced - even more than he disgraced himself - and let him serve as a warning to everyone else who might think about following in his footsteps. Let this be an example that there are limits to things, and that people should and will be held accountable for their actions and for their deceit.

And someday, even more importantly, let Donald Trump also go the way of Alex Jones, with his obvious lies and treasonous activities (I do not say that lightly) be exposed for all to see. Then, let him rot in jail in much the same way, for the rest of his worse than worthless life. Admittedly, I have lost my faith in the American political and justice systems in recent years and decades. However, if Alex Jones and especially Donald Trump get what they deserve in court, quite a bit of my faith could very well be restored.

So let's see what happens in the months and years to come.

After Alex Jones’ lawyers accidentally leak years of emails, Infowars financial documents are revealed in court by Ben Collins,  Aug. 3, 2022:

A lawyer for two parents suing Jones said the emails showed that Infowars at one point in 2018 was making over $800,000 per day.
