Well, we made it to the most famous zebra crossing in the world.
Indeed, one of the places that was a priority for me to visit during our trip to London, as a fan of the Beatles, was Abbey Road. And so we went.
Somehow, it looked different than what I expected. Smaller, perhaps. More of a cross section for numerous roads.
One other thing that I noticed in London in general, but in the James Woods neighborhood where Abbey Road is located, was just how many palm trees there are. Generally, you don't think of London as being warm enough for palm trees. Yet these were not merely small trees placed somewhere during the cold weather months, but big palm trees that were planted in the soil. There were a surprising number of them, actually.
We both took pictures of each other crossing the famous zebra crossing, and got some cheap souvenirs. A bit silly, perhaps. Yet admittedly, it helped make my trip to London feel more complete.
Anyway, here are some pictures from our visit to Abbey Road and the famous and historic studios in old Londontown.
Enjoy!
