Roger Waters, the legendary front man of Pink Floyd who went on to have a successful solo career, is currently on the road with his "This Is Not a Drill" tour.
Right at the beginning of the show, evidently, he is warning the crowd that he will be sharing his political views. He clearly knows that many people do not agree with them, although that does not concern him too much. His answer to any criticism was for people to go to the bar, if they do not want to hear him expressing his political views.
It still always rather shocks me that people are still surprised when a clearly political artist actually goes ahead and shares political views like this during a show. I mean, if you go to a Roger Waters show, by now, you surely have to realize that he is going to be sharing some of his trademark political views, right? They have been evident in his music and lyrics for a very long time. It's hardly a secret that he holds some strong views, and that he is not shy about sharing them during his shows.
In any case, it should be a good show. I'm looking forward to it!
