Just happened to stumble on this headline, and it made me laugh out loud. It's funny, because it's true. It does indeed feel like school boards and officials down in Texas seem more concerned with protecting kids from receiving a solid education than protecting them from gun violence.
This was one of the quotes (obviously not real) used in the Onion article:
